Friday Oct 1 – Artist Talks & Workshops Announced

Friday’s free programming at Carnegie Mellon University includes afternoon workshops/talks from Nate Boyce, Oneohtrix Point Never, Kyle McDonald, and Michael Johnsen in the College of Fine Arts from 12-5pm, PLUS an evening lecture on hip-hop and bounce workshop/kickoff dance party with Big Freedia. Loosen up them knees, kids. More details TBA on all VIA channels. CMU students can pick up tickets with their student ID at the University Center info Desk starting Sept 1.

Lawrenceville’s COCA cafe will be helping to fill bellies at VIA. Known for their coffee cafe and restaurant that provides bountiful brunches, chic yet affordable breakfasts, and some of the longest lines on a Sunday afternoon (hey, it’s worth it) – COCA will make you go mmm.
